Chandra has a beautiful space and the vibe is peaceful. With it being my first time getting a facial, I was pleasantly surprised by how I relaxed it made me and how good my skin felt afterwards. Going on vacation and needed a wax. Never had one before and was very nervous. As soon as Chandra opened her door and greeted me with a warm beautiful smile, I knew I was in good hands. Her studio is very clean and well decorated. She has a way of putting you at ease just by the way she communicates the entire time. She explained everything step by step and was very understanding. I will definitely be coming back to see her regularly and highly recommend! Chandra is the best and I don’t need to see anyone else to know that. The reviews on here are spot on! She even gave me a few samples of her face wash and balm at the end! 10/10! 🙌

You've never received services from or been to NWÄR STUDIOS.
I suspect you are a competitor, jealous of my 5-star reviews garnered by providing stellar service to my clients over the last 7 and half years. It saddens me that anyone would stoop so low as to besmirch a fellow business owner's good name and hard work. But alas, here we are.
I'd like to take this opportunity to impart some advice to you and anyone else who decides to post fake 1-star reviews on competing business profiles:
Do your best to advertise your services within your immediate area. Get out and network, talk to strangers, and share your business cards with anyone willing to take them. You're bound to come across someone who needs your services and would gladly support your business.
When they show up, do your best to provide 5-star service! Listen to their needs and impart your professional advice where applicable. After the service, simply ask them to leave you a review. You'd be surprised at how many people are willing to share their experiences.
Over time, you'll have a rock-solid community that not only supports your business but an amazing network of people from all walks of life. I've met people I would've never known had they not visited my studio. It's a wonderful gift to be in service to others.
And for my last piece of advice, writing fake reviews is a great way to pick up some bad karma. And "bad" karma has a funny way of doing that absolute MOST at the WORST possible time. It's not worth it. You're only blocking the good vibes (and the money) from reaching you.
I hope you'll read this response and seriously reconsider your bad behavior and decisions in life.

I cannot imagine going to another waxer after visiting Chandra. Fastest, least painful, most accurate Brazilian I have ever gotten. 11\10 service! Cute and comfortable studio space too.

Yes, our Brazilian wax service is for cis women only, as we do not have trained staff to perform the service for cis men. However, all other wax services are available to men, women and everyone in between. This is a judgement free and welcoming space open to all, but we like to be upfront and honest about our skills prior to clients booking.
Furthermore, you have NEVER been serviced by NWÄR STUDIOS at either location, so I have no idea why you feel compelled to leave a review. Trolling is the lowest form of human behavior, so please elevate yourself; you're better than that 😊.

We are so sorry to hear that you didn't love your recent WAX experience with us but we do thank you for highlighting the studio's policies in your review.
We do our best to filter out the undesirable clientele who may find it difficult to respect our craft and our Esthetician's time, by clearly outlining the studio's rules throughout the reservation process.
You violated two (2) of our policies when you arrived at your 4:30 pm reservation at 4:56 pm with your child in a baby carrier. Unfortunately, you could not be serviced under these circumstances so as per our policies we turned you away.
We hope that going forward you observe AND adhere to the policies of the establishments you wish to patronize in order to ensure a happy and memorable experience.

Firstly, very cautious with pandemic regulations - was greeted with hand sanitizer and a thermometer before i even walked in). Secondly - Brazilian wax was done with lightening speed, she made sure there was not even one hair left, skin was treated afterwards - super extra! Coming back again. Thank you, Chandra <3

It was my first time having waxing in a salon and I was amazed by the efficiency of service,customer care and attention to details. I believe I had brazilian with Chandra, the founder, and she was awesome. The website, the instructions, aftercare advice was just perfect especially considering covid precautions. Y’all when I tell you that this was my first time EVERY getting a wax. I’m was scared and didn’t know what to except. She made the atmosphere turn light hearted and was welcoming from the moment I came in. Taking her time and giving fun conversations, I could barely feel the tugging of the wax off the strips. Chandra was great! It was my first time visiting the salon after I bought a package on groupon. She was very welcoming and friendly; she made feel immediately comfortable talking to her. I got a Brazilian and it was super quick like 15 min max. She took care to remove hairs that were missed with wax because they were too short and used a tool that helps bring oxygen back to the skin after.
It's a small studio but cutely decorated. The waxing table was immediately to the left when you entered, which I thought was odd but I think that's cause of Rona. It seemed like there were other rooms in a hallway.
Happy to go back there for the rest of my package, even looking into their monthly subscription after!

So as a man we don't really get waxed. But I recently decided to up my game on my personal care and get waxed. I came across Nwar Studios and to my surprise it was pleasantly a great experience. I only got my under arms waxed. But when I say it was so fast it was something I wasn't expecting. I'm thinking I'm going in and I'll be there for 30-40mins. Nope in and out in 15mins. The wax was done in maybe 10mins. The place was very welcoming. The Esthetician Chandra was great. Very intelligent and informative on her craft. Oh did I mention BLACK OWNED. I will be booking more with this place in the future. Best experience ever.

This was my first wax and SOOOO much different than movies portray. Super comfortable, aesthetically pleasing environment, and clean of course. I was greeted by Chandra and hand sanitizer, and appreciate your being here even throughout the changes in our current world!

Had an amazing experience at Nwar studios! The place was easy to find and is super clean and neat. Upon entering I was given hand sanitizer and my temperature was checked. It was also my first time getting a Brazilian - I expressed that I was a bit nervous and Chandra made me feel so comfortable. She is very knowledgeable at what she does. Definitely recommend!
