THE FACIAL SERVICE
WHAT TYPE OF FACIALS DO YOU OFFER?
Due to COVID-19, we offer express facials. These are thirty (30) minutes facials meant to reset your skin and repair damage for environmentally stressed skin.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FACIAL SERVICE?
Our express facial includes a gentle cleanse, warm steam, exfoliation (chemical or manual) and a hydrating mask. Due to the short duration, extractions can be added to your service for an additional charge.
DO YOU OFFER MEN'S FACIAL SERVICES?
Absolutely! Our facial services are for men, women and everyone in between.
DO YOU ACCEPT CHILDREN FOR FACIALS?
We do NOT offer facial services to anyone under the age of 18 without parental consent. The youngest age we will accept is thirteen (13) with parental consent AND presence, anyone younger than that will not be serviced.
THE FACIAL EXPERIENCE
CAN I WEAR MAKE UP TO MY FACIAL SERVICE?
We want to see the real you! Please do NOT wear any makeup prior to your service. This will allow our Estheticians to analyze your skin and the give best professional recommendations.
I HAVE AN ACTIVE BREAKOUT, CAN I STILL GET A FACIAL?
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to come in with an active breakout. Our Estheticians are licensed and trained in the proper procedure(s) for caring for skin with active breakouts. We ask that you do NOT “pick” or “pop” anything prior at least 48 hours prior to service.
I HAD A BREAKOUT AFTER MY FACIAL. WHAT HAPPENED?!
No worries, friend! This is totally normal. Everyone’s skin reacts differently to treatment and it’s essentially your skin adjusting to the service. This should correct itself within 48 – 72-hours post service. And remember, NO picking!
CAN I GET A FACIAL WHILE PREGNANT?
Technically, yes… But we always encourage expecting mothers to check with their doctor prior to service and let our Estheticians know when booking your reservation. Oh, and congratulations!
FACIAL AFTERCARE
CAN I TAN AFTER MY FACIAL SERVICE?
Absolutely NOT! We ask that you wait at least 72 hours post facial to get a tanning service. The same rule applies for sun tanning as well. We also encourage wearing a sunscreen of at least 50 SPF when exposed to natural or synthetic UV rays.
CAN I WEAR MAKE UP AFTER MY FACIAL?
Oh, please don’t! We always recommend that you do NOT apply any topical medications or cosmetics for at least 24 – 48 hours after service. This is to ensure you skin does not get irritated by too many active ingredients post service.
FACIAL MAINTENANCE
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER MY FACIAL?
Wait to wash your face at least 12 hours post service, and only use non-scented or fragrance free facial cleanser when you do. Apply a hydrating moisturizer immediately afterwards. We also encourage wearing a daily sunscreen of at least 30 SPF.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME IN FOR FACIAL?
We encourage our clients to get a facial every 3 – 4 to weeks to help maintain the health of their skin.
